Go to another vet and ask about a ';ectopic ureter';. It seems to be a little common in Rottis. Mt parents had a Rotti with the problem years ago. It may not be that, but get it ruled out. It can be a severe problem and require surgery!!!!!!!
Good luck!!HELP! need advice about rothweiler pup!?
try cranberry pills from wal-mart. if she is irritated they will do the trick. if they dont maybe it is surgical?the cranberry surrounds every thing in the kidneys and bladder so it all slips out without causing irritation and pain then it can all heal.fixes peoples uti too!these cannot harn the dog so its worth a try and the cheapest fix if it works.
Try limiting his water intake past a certain time at night and make sure he goes out before bed.
I agree with the first answer. See another vet. One other problem could be that recieved an atibiotic that just did not work on the particular bacteria growing in there. Usually if it is an infection you will have problems other than just at night though.
