I need advice about girls?

when i will attend my favorite University this upcoming fall, if girls or guys ask me if i ever had a girlfriend before, will it be a good idea to lie and say that i dated this good looking female volleyball player at another University? is they ask how did you two meet, could i say my uncle knows the family, and couldn't i be the popular guy on campus? could i just lie and say i dated this volleyball girl, here is the link

Is the reason you are lying in the first place because you have never had a girlfriend..? Or are you just lying for the fun of it? You can go ahead and say this, it sounds legit, but your going to have to forever keep to your story. Farther down the road you may forget the details you told people, then you will get all caught up in a lie and it will be really embarrassing. So unless you have a pretty sharp memory, and you will be able to stick to your story, then I guess its okay. But i honestly don't understand why you want to tell this to people in the first place?
the only risk you run with lying about dating an actual person, is that someone will know that person. just make up a girl, no one will ever know.
