Financial advice about cars...?

I am 17 years old and i was wondering if i should buy a car, i would have to pay for it myself.

I wanted to know if there was a specific car that would be beneficial.....

for example: insurance would be cheaper with an old car etc.

btw: i can only pay monthly payments on a minimum wage salary ( remember i am only 17 years old)

any advice would be GREAT!Financial advice about cars...?
Save your money and pay cash for car. Do not go into long term bebt for your first car. It's the wrong decision for the wrong reason.Financial advice about cars...?
I wish I was 17 years old. No dealer will sell you a car. No lender will lend you money. At 17 you can't be held to any kind of contract for a sale or a loan. It'll come. Don't rush it. Even if a private owner sold you a car he'd be legally liable if something went amiss. And you could return the car in pieces for a full refund.
high mpg car

non imported

this is obviously obvious to you.

but you said ';any advice would be GREAT!';
